Question 1

Why should I see an auto electrician instead of a mechanic for my heavy equipment?

Accepted Answer

Our team of fully qualified and experienced auto electricians specialises in all of the electrical components of your heavy equipment, from the air conditioning in the cab to the computers that keep your vehicles and plant running smoothly and efficiently.

Mechanics work on all of the mechanical functions that can go wrong, while auto electricians are responsible for all of the electrical components.

It is just as vital that your electronic components are serviced and maintained regularly for performance and safety.

Components that we can inspect, repair and replace include electric brake systems, all of your lighting and signals, your dash and all of the wiring.

Question 2

What sort of vehicles can you inspect and maintain?

Accepted Answer

Our experienced team can assist with electrical inspections, maintenance, repairs and installations for trucks, plant and heavy machinery.

These include agricultural machinery like tractors and harvesters, heavy road transport machines including semi-trailers, all marine vessels, mining machinery, heavy vehicles and recreational vehicles.

We can come to your job site and carry out individual or fleet inspections and repairs on even the largest machinery to help minimise downtime and improve performance and efficiency with all of your heavy machinery and vehicles.

Question 3

Why has the air conditioning in my heavy vehicle stopped blowing cold air?

Accepted Answer

There can be many reasons for this. It is often assumed that the air conditioning needs re-gassing (and in some cases this is the problem) but there could be a range of other issues, including electrical problems, the compressor not engaging or a fluid leak.

Climate control in your cab is essential when working on hot job sites, so our team will diagnose and repair the issue in rapid time.

Question 4

What are the different electrical components that need to be maintained?

Accepted Answer

There are many critical parts and components that will need the attention of an auto electrician, including the battery, your alternator and your starter motor.

Other components that technicians can inspect, repair and replace include solenoids (that supply the power from your battery to the starter motor), voltage regulators, fuse panels, connectors and wires.

Question 5

What kind of electrical upgrades can you perform on my heavy machinery?

Accepted Answer

Our team can help you with a range of functional and safety features and accessories.

LED lighting is a great upgrade for all heavy vehicles and machinery because these bulbs offer superior visibility and will last much longer than regular bulbs, so they won't require replacement as regularly.

We can also test and upgrade your battery to help prevent downtime. Plus, we can install a range of helpful electrical features, including GPS, rear view cameras and any other electrical components you need for your job site or work operations.
